Palestine Lodge was chartered on August 19th 1925. In 1924, then Grand Master W.T. Frances received a request from eleven (11) Master Masons to form a new lodge in the city of Minneapolis,MN.

Palestine Lodge was chartered on August 19th 1925. In 1924, then Grand Master W.T. Frances received a request from eleven (11) Master Masons to form a new lodge in the city of Minneapolis,MN.
On Tuesday, February 3rd, 1925, GM Frances visited Anchor Hilyard Lodge to submit the matter of petition to its members. They approved the petition and the Grand Master granted a dispensation for the new lodge to be named Palestine UD and selected the first officers as: Chester Johnson,Worshipful Master; Clyde Allen,Senior Warden;and E.H. Comley, Junior Warden.
On August 19th, 1925 the Grand Master noted that since its organization, the affairs of the lodge had been so conducted as to merit such favorable consideration.
Therefore, he approved the request and granted a permanent charter to Palestine Lodge No.7
